“Incredible Animals” - EL Education Literacy Curriculum, 28 songs

This was a really exciting project. EL Education provides curriculum materials to thousands of public, private, and charter schools all over the country. For early childhood education, they had 26 Letter Poems - one for each letter of the alphabet, with a corresponding animal. They asked me to set them to music, so I decided to step it up a notch. I came up with a character for each animal, and wrote each letter it’s own pop song. In the demos, I played all the characters. But for the finished songs, we brought in voice actors to play a lot of the other animals. In the end, I played 7 animals, you’ll have to guess which ones.
